CROPCOVER® is applied post-emergence together with herbicides as an adhesion promoter . The gel formation increases the wash-off resistance of up to 100mm, which reduces the application rate.
CROPCOVER®, formulated with amylofol®, is an innovative adjuvant. amylofol® is a starch-based substance made from renewable raw materials. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, fully biodegradable, and reversibly water-soluble. In addition, amylofol® forms the basis of the excellent adhesive and coating properties and is manufactured in the company’s own production plant using a specifically developed and patented process by amynova polymers® GmbH.
CROPCOVER® is applied together with crop protection products, foliar fertilizers, and biostimulants. While CROPCOVER® significantly reduces washing off of herbicides and fungicides during heavy rainfall, evaporation and vaporization at high temperatures are also minimized when insecticides. are applied.
CROPCOVER® is applied as an adhesive with pesticides and foliar fertilizers and forms a starch film on the leaf surface as it dries. The active ingredients are stored in this film like in a depot, without encapsulating them. During rain, dew, or fog, the starch film absorbs water and forms a strong adhesive gel [wash-off resistance up to 100 mm]. This gel wets the leaf surface, and the plant’s applied active ingredients are absorbed over a longer timeframe. Loss of crop protection is reduced, and efficiency is improved.
When using liquid plant protection products and foliar fertilizers, we recommend using CROPCOVER® CC-1000.
The use of CROPCOVER® CC-2000 is advantageous for powdered plant protection products and increasing leaf mass due to its excellent wetting properties. The application time depends on the planned plant protection measure.
